(I'm like eating all the goodies from POP now, so I'm having a hard time typing. hmm.)

Everything happened so quickly, and here we are, taking the band over from the sec 4s.

I don't wish to talk about the ceremony. Really.

Weilin, Peizhen, and Xinhui came back for our outing! Hmm don't know whether that's good or not, but we still had so much fun! They were all waiting for us in school, when we're frantically giving out presents to everyone. Hahh

Rushing for time, with what so many presents to give.

Nobody could have guessed where we had dinner! We had dinner at a nearby hawker centre ! The one near our school, where the sirloin steak is most famous for. There almost everyone ate fish and chips! And everyone drank aloe vera white grape. We had to join table to fit everybody. That was so fun!

Dinner at hawker!

After, we took 3 cabs to our headed destination: The Pan Pacific! We faked the sec 4s we are going the Gallery Hotel, but somehow they found out it was not it.
Pan pacific is AWESOME! I mean it, its so amazingly pretty, extravagant and elegant! I've never been to it before, so definitely I was impressed.
The rooms were great too! They gave quite a number of freebies, complimentary stuff. And the swimming pool, toilets, restaurants even the lift is great!
We almost got killed while crossing the road over to 7-11 to get weilin's chips. haha scary.
So yes, the hotel was great, and we had GREAT GREAT GREAT time.

The night view of the hotel was pretty!

Buildings in the night

And we had a nice night.

The next day we walked to citylink and bought bread from breadtalk for breakfast. And we made our way to Lido Shaw House and watched The Lake House. Its a nice show, but wasn't touching, at least they kissed :) Enjoyed the show. And the popcorn was so big! :D I wanna watch CLICK !

Yes, and that's how we ended our rather screwed, but enjoyable ( i hope) POP outing! I'm glad everybody got to bond :) Except the sec 1s that is.

I LOVE YOU SEC 4S <33

Combining several swigs of a rock star's inebriated outrageousness and a hint of amorous cartoon skunk may sound like a recipe for someone deranged. But from this lunacy emerges one of the most amusing, not to mention brilliant, pirates since.. well, certainly not Captain Hook. For Jack Sparrow, which Johnny Depp famously said was inspired by geriatric rocker Keith Richards and ardent skunk Pep L Pew, embodies all the things you don't expect in a buccaneer. he sashays with irreverent gaiety, speaks in singsong, is unashamedly cowardly, and is as comical as someone's lusty, wayward grandpa. And as is his usual fashion, the impossibly handsome Depp throws his God-given looks off the plank, hiding that chiselled mug under smears of kohl, a greasy moustache, dreadlocks, and enthusiastic armpit sniffing. What could have been a bland Disney character based on the equally blah Pirates of the Carribean Theme Park is magicked into something all together differnt: a witty, conniving and cheeky rogue (not unlike Richards) in the cheerful stupor of a rumsoaked night.

PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN : DEAD MAN'S CHEST ROCKS BIG TIME :)

Every SNSB member is probably very happy over the results of the National Band Competition. Yes, we've got a gold, a GOLD , and this feeling of ineffable achievement is still running through me. In fact, the band got pretty high, we went mad during morning assembly.
So much of hard work, practice, effort and tortures had been put in for this (not forgetting Ms Sia's countless scoldings). I am not really sure if Ms Sia is happy for us, I wonder how did TKGS and Cedar girls did. They probably got gold too. If we can, they can. Nevertheless, our GOLD is no easy feat. We beat all odds to come thus far!

Now that the Band Competition is over, the Sec 4s must be really relieved that they finally can rest. I am quite nervous about their passing out, and really sad too. I am too used to submitting to senior's instructions that it feels so weird we'll be the ones leading in near future. I'm pretty sure our squad can do it though :)

TIME FLIES! Its already like, reaching end of July, my piano exam is in a week's time! I am totally freaked out by several haunting outcomes of my exams. I haven't been practising at all since the June Holidays , really, I mean with the camps, band competition, POP preparations, China trips, how do I even find time? I need a major energizer or I'll just drop dead on the ground.

Today was O levels listening. Nothing much really. It was okay, my answers were the same as Jingwen and Kahyee. And Priscilla kissed by Jingwen! (by accident of course) I promised to blog about this :D

Wednesday- History graded assignment/Chinese tests
Thursday- Geogaphy graded assignment

I'm going broke over buying POP gifts! Need to save money.

SPECIAL MENTION TO GAY : I made her go home alone! Oh dear, I hope you'll forgive me, Celeste! I promise to make it up to you! (:

I realise that I haven't updated for so long! Its been almost a month since I last updated.

Chinese O levels orals are over! Boy, am I happy. Right now I'm just a little worried over the Chinese O levels listening. Jingwen claims I'm going deaf, and I think so too, every passing moment. I shall stay away from my MP3 for a little while until after listening is over.

I'm undergoing colossal stress now that the band competition is just 2 days away. And my piano exam is in 2 weeks and I'm not exactly prepared for it.

Lessons are as usual, school's been pretty normal, other than occasional disappointment, mishaps & annoying matters. We've got a new Chem teacher. She's weird. And Jiaying's a little crazy too, with her "How 'bout" every now and then.

I am anticipating 6th of August :D That's the date when the China people from Huangshan would be coming over. Simin, Jingwen, Jiaying and I are going to have so much fun, hopefully more fun than what we experienced in China :)

POP is on th 29th of July. AHHHH that's fast.
