2006 has come to a pass
Countless memories that will always last
As I close yet another chapter again
I think about how it all began


Yes, 2006 has flown away. It felt as if I just entered sec 3. Time flies so quick, soon its O levels, then A levels, I'm going to graduate, I'm going to work, I'll get married, have children then die. Its going to be really quick, and its scary.

2006 was a memorable year for band. What I will definitely remember is winning that Gold for the Band Competition. Yes, we worked so hard for it, SNSB deserved it ! We also played for Jubilate 3 and the Balloon Hat Festival, which was truly amazing. Passing Out Parade this year was great too, our section actually ate at a hawker centre to celebrate. Of course, enduring Sia's scoldings was part of this year's experience too,her insults which will totally bring your morale down and make you really upset and scared. Flutes section would know how terrible it is (except Joy lah ). Flutes rock big time, I love spending time with my section !

3 Charity is such a rocker class ! I love this class, I can't think of anyday when I actually felt down. All the crap we do, noises we make. And facing the most unfair treatment together :)
2006 was a fantastic year for me in terms of studies. I improved so much from Sec 2. I remembered slacking totally during my sec 2 year and my grades wre horrendous. Sec 3 my grades were better, still not so good but at least better than sec 2's results. I guess I have my class and good friends to thank for that :)

And of course, not forgetting the trip to China ! It was a wonderful experience, I will take away everything from there !

Church has been great too ! I remember having fun at our Sec 3 camp, planning the mass together.
And my dear Parables ! I thank you all for being so understanding always. I had so much fun this holidays, and I will definitely want to spend my holidays like this in church. CDC, Lectors skit, 5 Golden Rings. I feel accomplished with all these little things. I love parables ! After O levels I'll be back !

And so, as I round up 2006 I would like to apologise to everybody I have offended. There is one special person (you know who you are ) whom I especially like to say sorry to, because I think I betrayed you, and our friendship probably went down due to a series of incidents which occured. I know its hard to forgive me, so I hope time will heal our wounds.

Thank you to everybody for enduring my crappings ! Thank you for being there, thank you for teaching me, thank you for everything :)

Still, I believed he did do good things which benefited Iraq. I'm reading AC news report, and here's another quote from there.

I watched the video of his execution. But it stopped after putting the noose over his head. I don't think I'd be able to take it anyway.

So, he is dead. After ruling Iraqi for almost a quarter of a decade. I'm a little sad now, so I shall just leave you with one line.

5 Golden Rings today was successful, yes ? Everybody did a great job and it was satisfying :) I believe Julian was the funniest man in the auditorium. Haven't been involved for so long, it feels good to have finally achieved something.

ITS ALMOST NEW YEAR'S EVE, and so many things undone ! '06 just flew past, and its going to be over in about, less than 2 days time. I don't like it. 2007, please don't come.
I HATE O LEVELS.

Today was a fantabulous day :)

Not at band, in church.
Band today was -----. What can I say, I was out there all the time, not combining. What exactly is HER problem ? Luckily I had Simin the whole time or I would have been bored to tears.

I wonder how was the HwaChong Concert. Must have been fun ! :D Too bad I can't go. My mother refuses to let me. Which may be a good thing since I get the opportunity to perform again, after a loooong time.

Our performance was PARTIALLY SUCCESSFUL ! It was actually successful, except that, the AV people didn't on the music when it was suppose to be on. TSK. That part was like so boring without music.

Nevertheless, it was alright! Great job Janice, Joel and Dora ! Plus Anne, Bel, Dot, Charmaine, Jos, Josh, Gen, Angelyn, Mag & Faith :) I love Parables !







































































Rehearsals have been truly amazing, and I'm glad we pulled it off :) Although my mother has restricted me from church for a long time, I'm glad that I am still able to have fun with Parables. I'm thankful for such understanding sis&bros who beared with my inconsistent attendance and my limited freedom of actions.

Potluck was even better, I ATE SO MUCH. So much food there, I ate the swiss rolls, potato chips, tapioca chips, tuna crackers, tarts, and lots lots lots of fishballs. Thank you to whoever brought the fishballs :D It was nice.

Its almost midnight, and I'm sad that boxing day is about to end. I am going to lose the Christmas joy. Ate about 2 bars of kinda bueno, 1 bar of milky bar & timeout and I'm eating Jessie's meiji milk chocolate, but I am not feeling happy. I guess holidays are about to end, and I have 6 days before term reopens.

I LOVE CHRISTMAS !

Today is a wonderful day which started off at a buffet at Furama hotel with my family (: It was wonderful, and I ate so much till I almost exploded.



Went shopping at night, and bought lots and lots of stuff. And I finally bought Bring it on: All or Nothing ! And my mother also bought the Smiling Pasta Part 2 for my brother.





The decorations at Causeway are cute ! Reindeers :)



Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. It's really exciting, can't wait for Christmas :D I won't be able to attend the midnight mass because my whole family doesn't want to except me. IRRITATING.

I am so not ready for 2007. I was on the cab with Dora and we just saying that it's so close to Christmas, and approaching the New Year. Its scary. And I know next year is one crazy year, with SYF, piano exam & O levels. I dread 2007 :
Ikea today with half of the flutes section was fun (: Ate at Ikea, then shopped around, bought materials we needed and things we wanted. We got chased out of Ikea, chased out of Tampines library and finally settled at a HDB void deck making our souvenirs. hoho. Wasted so much time travelling.

Rehearsals are goofy mad these days ! We'd stay up so late at night till my mother gets pissed. Anyway I offended Joel yesterday (sorry joel !) and made a scene. And today was TOTALLY EMBARASSING. Still, parables rock like SO MUCH.


I AM FAR AWAY FROM COMPLETING HOMEWORK. WONDERFUL.

4 days to Christmas.

So you think you can dance is so awesome ! :D Last monday's show's highlight for me was Allison & Ivan. It was great. haha.

HOWEVER HOWEVER.
My favourite dancer got out ! Ashlee Nino, you are on great dancer, and I will never forget you !

Dmitry Chaplin, please do us a favour and get out of the SHOW. You and your partner are always in the bottom 3, and every partner you've partnered with always gets out. This shows that you are not good at all ! First it was Joy, then Aleksandra now Ashlee. You partnered them, got them in the bottom 3 and the judges had the chance to pick them out. Pardon me for my crudeness, but just please get out of the show.

Musa Cooper, you are such a good dancer, you shouldn't have gotten out, it should have been Dmitry! Musa can dance way better than him, all he does is go topless and show his flabs. AND, Musa is wayyyy cuter than Dmitry. Grr.

Of course, everyone knows the winner is ____. I shan't say it here, in case anybody doesn't want to know :) Clue is, he's a male ! I guess, America prefers male dancers over female dancers huh ?
Can't wait for next monday's episode !



I know its abit late, but CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SEC 4S ON THEIR CONFIRMATION! They finally , after all their hard efforts, they got confirmed. As for me, I still have one more year to go before my confirmation next year :/

Youth seminar has been alright, nothing much to say, except my MOTHER is irritated I spend too many days in church, for too long. I wish I could just bust her, and make her disappear into thin air. She let me go for the barbeque on thursday, but doesn't let me go for the Youth barbeque tomorrow. Reason being, its a church event.

Like, HELLO ? She's being totally prejudiced against church, and that's a serious problem.

I can't wait for THURSDAY :D But I can't stay till night, I would have to leave at 6, because there's rehearsal. ARGH! I wanna go for bbq, why did rehearsal have to be on thursday !

START ON HOMEWORK ENID ! START ! START !

Caroling rehearsal was super slack, because no one came, so there were only like the 5 of us, so we ended up at loykee chicken rice. :/


I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT THURSDAY ! :DDDDDDD SO EXCITING ! But I do hope I can turn up though, its going to be so fun :D
And I hope on Sunday my mother wants to go JB ! hoho then I would be able to meet up with Simin :)) and maybe jingwen & jiaying ! :D

I have to start on my homework. YES ! But right now, I shall have lunch first.I am currently feasting on 5 different kind of dishes, hokkien mee, kway tiao, carrot cake (white), carrot cake (black) & steamed chicken rice. I wonder what did number 10 say.

Today is one of those days when I feel this surge of repentance permeating through me. Its like already in december, but somehow, I haven't been doing anything about my studies, or even started on homework. It may be procrastination, but I seem to have lost all my motivation to do work. That, is not a good sign for a girl taking her O levels next year and aiming to go HCJC.

I am still brainstorming on Christmas gifts. Guess what, I am officially broke. Argh. Now, I have to humble my little self and ask my father for money.If my father say he doesn't have money, I shall have to humble myself much lower ask my mother for money. Yes, I shall do just that.

Band pracs are lonely now. Every band prac there's only a maximum of 3 people. Either me & joy, or me & ann, or me, joy & valery, or me, ann & joy. Do you see this thing about me being always there ? At least I know 4 people are coming on thursday ! Simin is finally back, and jingwen came back from taiwan too ! :D

I redid my links template, got aid from html websites and managed to come up with a nicely done up layout. Perhaps if I can be bothered I would do up this blog as well.
